The participant must be reachable at any time before, during and after the Event. Airplane mode or a switched-off mobile phone is not permitted and may result in a penalty.

The Organiser will use this information exclusively in the event of medical complications involving the runner and subsequent treatment by medical or rescue services. -
The start of the Javornícka stovka is a mass start – 10 October 2026 at 07:00 at Matičné námestie in Čadca.
-
The time limit for completing the course (arrival at the finish in Lysá pod Makytou) is 27 hours from the start, i.e. until Sunday, 11 October 2026 at 10:00.
-
The Javornícka stovka route is precisely defined, and participants are required to follow the designated route.
-
Carrying a runner’s equipment by another person is strictly prohibited.
-
Personal assistance to a participant – for example from family members, friends or other persons – is permitted exclusively at aid station K4 Semeteš. Any support outside this location, including replenishment of water, food, gels, spare clothing or equipment for the night, is not permitted and will result in disqualification.
-
In order to ensure equal conditions for all participants in the 106 km race, pacers are not permitted. An exception is made for guides accompanying visually impaired participants (with the consent of the Organiser).
-
In order to protect the health of participants, medical personnel present at the Event have the right, in the event of medical complications that could endanger the safety, health or life of a participant, to decide to terminate their participation in the race (or suspend it for the necessary period). In such a case, the participant must comply with this decision.
-
In the event of premature withdrawal from the Event outside an occupied checkpoint, the participant is required to inform the Event Organiser by telephone or SMS (if there is no signal at the location, the participant must do so at the first possible opportunity). The Organiser’s contact number will be provided during registration.
-
Every participant in the Javornícka stovka Event is obliged to provide assistance to another participant in distress.
-
If a participant becomes aware of circumstances that could endanger the life or health of participants along the Event route, they must immediately report this to the Event Organiser.
-
The Organiser of the Javornícka stovka reserves the right to change the route, checkpoint time limits and Event programme, or to cancel the Event entirely, particularly for reasons concerning participant safety.
VII. LIVE CHECKPOINTS, ROUTE COMPLIANCE, PENALTIES, DISQUALIFICATION AND PROTEST
-
There are checkpoints along the Event route (“live checkpoints”) staffed by the Event Organiser or authorised volunteers. Participants are informed about these checkpoints via the Javornícka stovka website.
-
At each checkpoint, the participant’s arrival time will be recorded. The time will be recorded electronically at all live checkpoints (the participant places their chip against a reader at the checkpoint or a volunteer records it using an application). Participants must therefore approach the checkpoint immediately upon arrival, i.e. not when leaving the checkpoint or only after taking refreshments.
-
In addition to the main 27-hour time limit for completing the entire route, intermediate time limits apply at individual checkpoints.
SATURDAY, 10 OCTOBER 2026:
-
K1 Zákopčie, U Holých – by 09:30

-
A participant who passes all checkpoints within their respective time limits and reaches the finish within the overall time limit will receive a certificate at the finish confirming successful completion of the Javornícka stovka.
-
In the event of a missing checkpoint record, the Organiser will decide whether a penalty or disqualification applies.
-
Deliberate deviation from the route (shortcutting), use of any means of transport, and any other form of cheating will result in disqualification (DSQ) and a ban from all future editions of the Javornícka stovka.
-
The use of a pacer or pacers and personal assistance outside the permitted checkpoint are prohibited and will result in disqualification. An exception is made for guides accompanying visually impaired participants (with the consent of the Organiser).
-
Refusal to assist another participant in an emergency, failure to follow the instructions of the Organiser, volunteers or medical personnel, physical or verbal abuse, threatening Organisers or volunteers, refusal to undergo a mandatory equipment check, or missing mandatory equipment (headlamp, mobile phone, emergency thermal blanket, bottles or hydration bladder with a minimum capacity of 1 litre) will result in disqualification (DSQ) and exclusion from all future editions of the Javornícka stovka.
-
Missing personal cup, mug or wide-mouth bottle (bidon) with a minimum capacity of 1.5 dl, missing original identity document, missing reflective tape, reflective vest or another clearly visible reflective element outside reflective elements on clothing and backpack will be penalised by adding 1 hour to the overall time.
-
An incorrectly positioned race bib (the race bib is not visible, or is placed on the back of the body or on the backpack) will be penalised by adding 15 minutes to the overall time. An exception applies where the Organiser permits a different position of the race bib.
-
Participants must not dispose of litter outside checkpoints staffed by the Organiser or public waste bins or containers. Deliberately disposing of litter outside checkpoints staffed by the Organiser or public waste bins or containers will result in disqualification (DSQ).
-
Loss of the GPS device/tracker will result in disqualification (DSQ). Loss of the GPS tracker is subject to a fee.
-
A penalty or disqualification will be applied at the location where the violation of the Rules is detected, or at the next checkpoint if the participant who violated the Rules has already left the checkpoint before the penalty or disqualification could be applied. The penalty or disqualification will be imposed by the Event Organiser or an authorised volunteer at the checkpoint following a telephone consultation with the Event Organiser.
-
A protest concerning possible problems with the organisation or course of the Event may be submitted at the finish no later than 1 hour after the end of the overall Event time limit (i.e. until 12 October 2025 at 12:00). The protest must be submitted personally to the Event Organiser. A EUR 20 deposit is required to submit a protest. If the protest is accepted by the Organiser, the EUR 20 deposit will be refunded to the participant; if the protest is rejected, the deposit will be retained by the Organiser.
VIII. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
-
Every participant in the Event must be aware that they will be moving through the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Kysuce) and must comply with the legislation of the Slovak Republic, namely Act No. 543/2002 Coll. on Nature and Landscape Protection.
