Checkpoints (aid stations) and time limits for the checkpoints:

​

There will be seven aid stations along the course with drinks and food. These spots will also have checkpoint stations where times will be recorded using an electronic timing app. Below you'll find a list of them including their locations, distance from the start, and the time limit.​​​

There won't be checkpoints with passwords, ticks, pens, etc. (“non-staffed” checkpoints without volunteers). 

Missing a record from a checkpoint means disqualification for the participant.

PLEASE NOTE:

It's possible that along the course there will be a live checkpoint in addition to the above-mentioned ones, which is not listed above. It will be located directly on the Javornícka stovka cpurse, and if you follow the route, you won't be able to miss it.

​

The event organizer reserves the right to change the course, location, and time limits of the checkpoints (refreshment stations).

 

Javornícka stovka course marking:​

​

1. Hiking signs
The entire course of the Javornícka stovka (except for a few short sections, which participants will be informed about in the info email as well as before the event starts) is marked with standard hiking signs:

  • hiking mark (red/yellow/green/blue, on tree trunks, rocks, poles, etc.),

  • hiking mark – arrow (usually at turns),

  • hiking signpost.

2. Additional marking
Along the Javornícka stovka course, there will also be its own (additional) markings, in the form of:

  • red-and-white ribbons – usually in sections where extra marking is needed for better orientation (larger gaps between hiking signs, difficult navigation, important turns);

  • orange plastic flags on wires, mainly in meadows and open areas;

  • reflective markings in the second half of the route, mainly between K6 and the finish;

  • directional arrows placed on A5-sized signs or on the surface of asphalt sections.

Participants will get more information about the types and placement of additional markings before the start.
