Javornícka stovka is a mountain ultramarathon and long distance non-stop march for individuals with a 105 km course in the Javorníky mountains in Slovakia. The starting point is in Čadca, finish is in Lysá pod Makytou.

October 9 and 10 at the House of Culture in Čadca, Matičné námestie (square).

Participant registration on Friday, October 9, 2026, will take place at the House of culture in Čadca (Matičné Square 1434) from 18:00 CET to 22:00 CET. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the morning, registration will take place at the same location from 05:30 CET to 06:40 CET. Each participant must submit a completed and signed Informed Consent and Participant Declaration form valid for the Javornícka Stovka 2026 race.

Starting place:

 

The start of the Javornícka stovka is collective on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 07:00 CET from Matičné Square in Čadca, in front of the House of culture. Before the start, you will receive up-to-date weather information and any necessary alerts from the organizers.

The start will be signaled by a starting pistol.​

Aid stations and checkpoints:

 

Along the course, there will be aid stations with drinks and food. These spots will also serve as checkpoints, including recording times using electronic timing:

There won't be checkpoints with passwords, ticks, pens, etc. (“non-staffed” checkpoints without volunteers). 

Missing a record from a checkpoint means disqualification for the participant.

27 hours (Sunday October 11 until 10:00 CET)
 

Parking:

 

You can park your vehicles at the nearby central parking lot of the village Lysá pod Makytou.

​

Before the event: Please note that there are no designated or reserved parking spots for participants in Lysá pod Makytou.

Information about parking in Čadca can be found on the town's website.

You can look up transportation options to the starting point by train or bus on this website.

​

​Please note:

 

The event organizer reserves the right to change the route, alter the event program, or cancel the event. In case of such changes, registered participants will be informed via email.  

​

During the route, make sure to stay hydrated and get enough food. There will be refreshment stations along the route providing snacks (each will also have an isotonic drink, magnesium, and grape sugar). If you use supplements like gels, salt tablets, or energy bars, you should pack them in your backpack.

 

Weather is an important factor during ultramarathons. Check the weather forecast before the event and adjust your gear accordingly!

The mountains along the Javornícka stovka race route are home to brown bears as well as other types of wildlife.​​​
